We did 3 laps. The trail is almost 8 miles total. The 1st lap I warmed up. The 2cd lap I saw a rabbit and went for it. D told me to let it rip and I did, my average speed at that point was 18.9 and I was trying to go faster. I waited for D to catch up and we did a cool down lap together, taking it easy cuz his knee was throbbing.
D has a torn meniscus, that's what's been wrong with his knee the last 6 months. Surgery is probably going to happen sometime this winter, after the holidays.
Total miles 24
18.3 average
Faster!
After the ride we chowed down at a Greek restaurant near my house and ate some Gyro's. Then we napped for a half hour till I left for work.
Good times!

Awwww, you need to frame that one. So cute.
That bike looks like it could bite someone. Sweet.
Hey, I had a torn meniscus a year and a half ago. Surgery was a huge success and the recovery was super short. I was running two weeks after and ran a 100-miler three months after. Recovery is typically quick, hope it's the same for him.
I've heard the same as jamie (above) about the torn meniscus recovery. I hope it all works out.
Glad to see you having a happy day. Now I want Greek food.
Now you looked like one HAPPY GIRL!!!!
No f-bombs... I am SO PROUD of you!!! :)
I'm so glad to hear about the Good Times! That is a good day. And you're right... sweet Serotta!
Have a great weekend.
