Work
I work in an after hours corporate travel agancy. We are open 24/7 and some people get to work from home and some don't. I have been wanting to work from home for a long time. My shifts are 3 days a week for 12 hour days and then I work one night shift from 5p-10p. Sometimes I pick up extra OT hours on Sunday. Now they are allowing a few folks from my office to log in from home if they pick up extra weekend hours. I thought they were going by seniority but now I found out a girl who was hired after me is going to be set up to log in from home. I am LIVID. I have an email into both bosses to see WTF is going on.
Mud
My backyard is one big mud pit. Every single time I let the dogs out they come back in with mud all over. Not like I have the neatest house in the world but I don't need mud all over the kitchen. And Dominic lets them out while I am at work and he doesn't wipe their paws that well. I wish for a freeze but then I don't want cold weather! Ugh.
4 mile run and a dead dog
I ran 4 miles this morning - it was 30 degrees when we woke up. Ari was so happy when he saw me grab my MP3. While we were out running we saw a dead pit bull that looked like it was just thrown away into some bushes. Ari went to sniff him but I yanked the leash back. It made me so sad to see the dead dog just thrown out like that. I wondered if he felt any pain, how did it happen? Was he killed for not being a fighter? Was he sick? Was he strangled Michael Vick style? I called the SCPA about it when I got home but they referred me to the sanitation department. I called them and told them the whereabouts of the dog's body.

That really sucks about the girl getting to work from home when she hasn't been there as long as you have.
